With proven components, and the high availability of parts and service, MTI Personnel Carriers thrive in the harsh environment of underground mining and are designed to transport personnel safely and efficiently.  Like all MTI UVT’s, the PC1 personnel carrier share a universal Heavy Duty Carrier with an all mechanical powertrain. Designed to be versatile and durable this carrier can accommodate a multitude of functions ranging from fuel/lube truck to man-basket or cement mixer.  With an EPA/MSHA Certified engine and dual sided drivers environmental cab, MTI UVT’s contribute both function and form.  With features such as variable displacement hydraulics, fail-safe brakes, and a Dana or John Deere powertrain, all MTI UVT’s ride a versatile and dependable platform.
